Profile

Celeia hops, a triploid offspring of Styrian Golding, Aurora, and a Slovenian wild hop, stand out in the world of brewing for their excellently balanced profile and remarkable storage stability. Developed by the Slovenian Institute of Hop Research and Brewing, Celeia was intended to enhance the agronomic properties of Styrian Golding while preserving its appealing characteristics.

Celeia is often compared to noble hops, exhibiting more floral notes than its relatives like Styrian Golding or Fuggle. It's flavour profile is intriguing, combining savory notes like thyme with fruity undertones of pear and fresh lime. They are slightly citrusy and floral on the nose, providing a pleasant bitterness that aligns well with their aroma. Additional nuances of incense and fresh hay contribute to its special character. It is particularly suitable for Lagers, Pilsners, English-style Ales, ESBs, American Lagers, and a range of Belgian Ales
