Profile

Southern Sublime is a unique hop variety that originates from South Africa. This hop is known for its high alpha content and is daylight neutral. Its genetic lineage can be traced back to a diploid seedling that was selected from a cross between the Nugget hop and 89J1/101. This South African-bred hop is particularly notable for its distinct aroma profile, which boasts a combination of pungent, Kool-Aid, juicy fruit, pineapple, citrus, mango, red plums, grassy, spicy, woody, and resin notes. Such a diverse and intense aroma makes it a perfect choice for brewing hop-forward beers, especially the West Coast-style IPAs.
